In November, we will have our annual Weathering the Storm Fund for the Underinsured Fund Raiser. This year, we are happy to announce that Vaughn Wilson Photography will be taking photos ideal for your holiday greeting cards.
The dates are:
Monday, November 2 - 1p-8p
Tuesday, November 3 - 10a-8p
Location: Canebrake Country Club
The sitting fee is $40 and you will have a choice of two different backgrounds, graciously provided by local businesses.

October - Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The SMMA, with a generous sponsorship from FGH Spirit of Women, hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness event on October 16th that featured guest speakers: Dr. Jennifer Bailey, OG/GYN, MSMA Alliance President Sondra Pinson of Tupelo, and MSMA Alliance Past President 1998-1999 Nancy Bush of Laurel - a breast cancer survivor!
The event was held at the Canebrake Country Club. Thank you to all who attended.
Help make the day of a pediatric patient!
The SMMA has partnered with FGH and WMC to help host a Santa breakfast for pediatric patients.
We plan to make the day of these children by bringing Santa to them! We'll share gifts provided by the South MS Medical Society and take lots of pictures!
